Species Spotlight
Whale sharks (Rhincodon typus) are the ocean’s largest fish growing up to 12 metres. Despite their enormous size, they filter feed on microscopic plankton. Like our own fingerprints, each Whale Shark’s spots are unique, and can be used to identify individuals as they migrate thousands of miles across the ocean. These majestic creatures have existed for 28 million years, and face more threats today than ever before.
But there is always hope. People who care, change the world.
